Luke 2:36-37
"Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher, and was very old. She was a widow, for her husband had died when they had been married only seven years. She was now eighty-four years old. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer. "


And there was a prophetess- prophētis (a female who declares or interprets oracles)

Anna- Hanna (A prophetess in Jerusalem at the time of the Lord's presentation in the Temple. She was of the tribe of Asher.)

the daughter- thygatēr (a daughter)

of Phanuel,- Phanouēl (the father of Anna, the prophetess of the tribe of Asher)

of the tribe- phylē (a nation, people)

of Asher.- Asēr (the eighth son of Jacob)

She was advanced- probainō (to go forwards, go on)

in years- hēmera (the day, used of the natural day, or the interval between sunrise and sunset, as distinguished from and contrasted with the night)

and had lived- zaō (to live, breathe, be among the living (not lifeless, not dead))

with her husband- anēr (with reference to age, and to distinguish an adult man from a boy)

seven- hepta (seven)

years- hēmera (the day, used of the natural day, or the interval between sunrise and sunset, as distinguished from and contrasted with the night)

her marriage,- parthenia ( virginity)

and then as a widow- chēra ( a widow)

Luke 2:52

"So Jesus grew both in height and in wisdom, and he was loved by God and by all who knew him"

in wisdom- sophia (wisdom, broad and full of intelligence; used of the knowledge of very diverse matters)

and in favor- charis (grace)

with God- theos (a god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities)

and men.- anthrōpos (a human being, whether male or female)
